Policies

We are closely monitoring the situation regarding coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in our community. Until the situation is resolved, we will continue to defer to the CDC and other health professionals on how best to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

The health policy was created using guidance from the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/stop-the-spread-of-germs.pdf) about best practices to prevent the spread of all germs and ensure your continued health and well-being.

Health Policy for Music Together of Hampton Roads

We ask for your help in keeping all the members of our musical community healthy by following these protocols. Your vigilance and adherence to this health policy is extremely important. We reserve the right to send a family home from class if we feel these sickness protocols are not being followed.

Cleaning Protocols

  • Each family will have their own set of disinfected instruments to be used during class.
  • Instruments and props will be thoroughly disinfected daily.
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available for use during class.

Family Health and Illness Policy

  • For the indoor spring semester, masks are recommended (not required) for everyone over the age of 2 at Wycliffe Presbyterian.

  • For the indoor spring semester masks are required for adults unless you are vaccinated at Larchmont United Methodist.

  • Social distancing must be practiced when entering/exiting the classroom and throughout class.

  • Please do not come to class if you or your child is sick. If you or your child has been sick (something other than COVID 19), please do not return to class until you or your child has been fever-free for at least 24 hours.

  • If you have been in close contact or if you share a residence with someone who has tested positive for COVID 19 even though you feel well, please contact us ASAP so we can best decide when it is safe for you to return to music class.
